Privacy Policy

Your Screen Time and app-usage data stays on your device. It is read only inside Apple's sandboxed on-device report, and is never uploaded to our servers. The only things that leave your device are an anonymous account identifier, your subscription status, and — if you choose to post one — a dua you share to the community feed.

• Screen Time (Family Controls). With your permission, the app uses Apple's Screen Time APIs to show your own usage and to shield the apps you choose during prayer windows and after your daily limit. Usage figures are read only inside Apple's sandboxed DeviceActivity report on your device and are never sent to us.
• Location (optional). If you allow it, your location is used to calculate accurate prayer times for your city. Prayer-time calculations happen on your device; we do not store your coordinates on our servers. You can skip this and search for your city by name instead.

• Anonymous device identifier. On first launch the app generates a random identifier (stored in your device keychain) and exchanges it for a token so it can talk to our service. It is not your name, email, or Apple ID, and it is not used to track you across other apps or websites.
• Subscription status. When you subscribe, Apple gives the app a signed receipt which our server validates with Apple to unlock Noor Break Pro. We receive only the anonymous subscription status — never your payment details.
• Community duas. If you post a dua (a Pro feature), the text you write and a country flag you choose are sent to our service, reviewed by us, and — once approved — shown to other users in the community feed. Do not include personal or sensitive information in a dua you post publicly.
• Basic technical data. Like any internet service, our servers log standard request information (IP address, device/OS type, timestamps) to operate and secure the service. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.

• Open-Meteo. When you search for your city by name, the text you type is sent to Open-Meteo's free geocoding API (geocoding-api.open-meteo.com) to turn the city name into coordinates. No identifier is attached.
• Apple. Subscriptions are handled by the App Store under Apple's own privacy policy.

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs in the app.

Duas are reviewed before they appear in the public feed. We have a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. You can report a dua or block a user from within the app, and we act on reports promptly — removing content and, where needed, the user who posted it.

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not upload your Screen Time or app-usage data.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not run third-party advertising SDKs.

Noor Break is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

You can revoke Screen Time or Location access at any time in iOS Settings. To ask what data we hold, to remove a dua you posted, or to delete the data associated with your device, email us at imisolutions@icloud.com and we will action it.

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
